While I was playing around with the data set on infrastructure from the worldbank in Tableau, I came to this colorful illustration. It shows the internet usage per country and time for all of the countries that were in the dataset.

What I find interesting about it

I find it interesting how different the internet usage is and how many countries there are, where the Internet is still not present at all!

You can see a definite upward trend for all of the countries. Another interesting thing is, that you can see how young the internet really is. And how the usage has exploded in only the last years. I like how the chaos of all the lines visualises this idea.
